i think actually the key to successfully doing tumblr (and especially doing fandom on tumblr) is realising that your blog is your little house and you can post about whatever you like there. once you realise you are just living in and decorating your very own silly little online house you start focusing on what makes you happy rather than constantly performing for & compromising your tastes for & placing all your self worth on little scraps of clout, and you will be a lot happier for it

this really is the funniest website since 2000 followers roughly equates to 5 notes as your floor on any given post. 30 if you’ve said something wretched.

Did you guys know the “Sickos” artist made a Sicko thats a WGA screenwriter on strike (said comic artist is a The Onion satirist comic artist and his name is Stan Kelly)

Screenshot from a The Onion satire comic. Man wearing “Sicko Screen-writers” shirt looking through innocent American family window and saying “Yes… ha ha ha… YES!” He and other writers in background all hold signs that say “On Strike.” All writers have a cartoonish expression of joyful malice.ALT

And honestly? What a mood. Haha YES indeed.

Major disservice to the community by not posting the full comic

I feel like this is an appropriate time to mention Ancestral Sickos.

finally watching quantumania, and I’m not very far into yet but like. the animation is really cool, I’m impressed with it, but in a lot of shots the actors don’t look fully integrated into the scene??? like they just pop out a little or it looks like they’re behind whatever they’re supposed to be holding

I fucking love Ant Man. Fuckin love Scott Lang. He’s literally just a good dude. He’s done over by the system, wants to do the right thing but its “iLlEgAl” how he does it. He wants more time with his daughter like any good father would. He adores his girlfriend (and she adores him back, don’t tell me Hope isn’t whipped for Scott because she IS DAMMIT). He literally saved the universe thanks to a rat. He’s gonna most likely be responsible for unleashing Kang, giving us the Multiverse Saga in its best form.

Man.

I fuckin love Scott Lang.

Man has the biggest heart around plus a master’s degree, but people keep dunking on him both in-and-out-of-universe for being “dumb”. My guy deserves so much more

no offense but luis, maggie, and jim are canonically more important to scott than they the van dynes (family/support system wise). maggie and jim paxton coparent cassie with scott, and supported him constantly while he was under house arrest. luis is scott’s BEST friend who roomed with him in prison, started a business with him, and lived with him for two years while scott was under house arrest. leaving them out of ant man 3 was genuinely disrespectful not only to them, but to scott. how hard would it have been to include a minor subplot or even one scene including them?

It didn’t feel like an antman movie without them. Like yes Scott was there and hope too but not having Scotts friends/other family was so weird to me. I miss them hopefully they will be back. 🥺😔

The last 2 minutes of Ant-Man contain what is one of the most relatable scenes I’ve ever watched specially for someone with Anxiety.
